Joan Evelyn Ongodia
Joan works on the ASHVIN project as a research assistant, at the chair of Civil and Building Systems of the Institute for Civil Engineering at the Technical University Berlin. Her research focus is on improving construction productivity, resource efficiency, and safety; with a focus on geotechnical
foundation systems.
Professionally, she has audited, supervised, and worked on hydropower plants, tunnels, traffic engineering studies, civil construction projects, geological and geotechnical investigations.
Joan's academic training includes a PgD in Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering (University of British Columbia), a MSc Geotechnical Engineering (University of Cape Town), and a BSc Civil Engineering (Makerere University).
