Milad is a research assistant in the chair of Civil and Building Systems at the Institute for Civil Engineering at the Technical University Berlin.
He received a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, has a Master degree in Transportation Planning and started his PhD 2017 at the Chair of Civil Systems (TU Berlin). As the technical director of a consultant company in Iran, Milad have been participated in supervising and designing several road construction projects. Publishing and presenting papers at journals and international conferences as well as conducting many scientific workshops in the field of disaster recovery and pavement engineering as lecturer were his academic activities before commencing Ph.D. at TU Berlin. At the moment he is trying to combine the concepts of natural hazards as an interdisciplinary and multi-aspects destructive phenomena, complex systems, GIS, economic engineering, construction, simulation and decision making techniques for the Ph.D. project of Post-Disaster Infrastructure Reconstruction Planning (PDIRP) . Furthermore, given more than seven years working experience in private sectors and with authorities, he is willing to achieve tangible practical results for DMs, by accurately distinguishing existed gaps and also possible bridges between science and practice in his field.
Currently he is also working on the development of concepts for the newly created Integrated Collaborative Engineering (ICE) Room.
