At the start of the module "Complex Civil Energy Systems Design", we have assigned the first project to the students to design an energy system which is due on 04.06.2018. Students will apply system engineering approaches in a multi-disciplinary manner to provide an optimal solution that balances the many off conflicting objectives for energy systems through multi-objective optimization techniques. It is an individual assignment and students will develop a first design for an energy system by applying the principles of product and process modelling for developing a model that optimises the performance of an overall system based on a number of defined high-performance criteria.We are looking forward to having interesting results at the end of the first project.
