Manuel Jungmann


Manuel is a Research Assistant and doctoral candidate at the chair of Civil and Building Systems at TU Berlin.
He received his first B.Sc. in Urban Planning from University of Kassel and a second in Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on Civil Engineering from TU Berlin. During his studies he spent an exchange at the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. His master thesis was written in the EU-funded project P2Endure regarding energy efficient renovations of buildings. Following his M.Sc. degree, he worked in project management for a large-sized infrastructure project and at TU Vienna, Austria.
Manuel joined the chair in 2021 and is working in the ASHVIN project. His research focuses on simulation of construction processes with the help of data sciences and digital twins to achieve a more productive, safer, and resource efficient way of construction.
